Tips to Loose weight without losing Money

Dieting is never easy and doing it on a budget is even tougher. ..................................................................................... Gyms cost money so unless you can afford it and you KNOW you will go, DO NOT join a gym. Go out jogging, see if there is a free class in the local park. Run up and down the stairs, use bottles filled with water/sand as weights. Look for exercise programs on the telly and record them. Use a bicycle tire insert (free at your local bike centre if it has a puncture) as a tension band or a bit of underlay as a yoga mat. Housework and even sex can be a great calorie burner so get going. ..................................................................................... Eating can also be expensive. Fresh food can cost a fortune. Go to the supermarket at the end of day. Walk there and back if you can for the extra calorie burning, buy items that only have a day or so left and you can eat that night for dinner. ..................................................................................... Cheap Yogurt pots can be frozen with popsicle sticks in them (just pop them through with the top still on) for quick and easy snacks and a cheap alternative to buying frozen yogurt. ..................................................................................... Use olive oil instead of butter on bread and also use it for cooking. Saves buying two separate things. ..................................................................................... Live by the three bite rule when eating a dessert. Take three small bites and then put down your fork. Wait and see if you have to have more or if that was enough. Talk, laugh, distract yourself and then if you must, eat three more bites. Keep going until you can say enough. You can always save what is left for dessert the next night. ..................................................................................... Grow your own vegetables. Get free seeds from green fingered friends and use a patch of your garden or a pot on your windowsill. ..................................................................................... Keep lettuce in a large bag in individual portions and blow into the bag before sealing and putting in the fridge. It will stay fresh longer. ..................................................................................... Eat your veg first, it helps to fill you up and then you will eat less meat and potatoes or pasta. ..................................................................................... Try a salad for starter with vinegar on it. Vinegar can help us feel full. ...................................................................................... Keep a food diary and have a naughty day in the week when you can eat whatever you like. ...................................................................................... Remember Cravings pass in about 10 minutes so find something to do to distract you. Paint your nails, clean the bathroom, play a game with your kids or read a book.
